Principal's Message

Mrs. Delores J. Bell comes to SPES & SPJHS with educating students and a focus on teaching and learning as her main priority. Prior to coming to SPES & SPJHS, her professional career began as a High School History teacher in 2000, with the Leona Group. She has held positions as a School Leader in Detroit, MI, and Assistant School Leader at South Pointe Elementary School. In all positions that she has held her approach is always student-centered for academic excellence.

Mrs. Bell’s most significant initiative is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a respectful and safe school environment that fosters a culture of excellence and a commitment to learning. She holds high expectations for our staff, parents, and students, as well as herself, to educate from the heart to guarantee that our students have the skills needed to employ themselves as life-long learners.

Mrs. Bell’s goal is to ensure that SPES & SPJHS staff continues to strive to educate the whole child, thereby empowering our school and community. Mrs. Bell believes that both South Pointe Elementary School and South Pointe Junior High School will not only make a difference in the community; we will be the difference in the South Phoenix Community.
